How It Works

  • Step 1: Sign Up. Opt-in to the program through your member portal or by contacting our office.
  • Step 2: Round Up. Every month, we’ll round your bill to the next whole dollar. (Example: A bill of $83.87 becomes $84.00).
  • Step 3: Invest Locally. The extra cents (in this case, 13¢) go directly into a dedicated fund to help local non-profits and community organizations.

All donations are placed in a fund and administered by an independent Board of Directors which is selected by Big Horn’s Board of Directors.  Typically, a good cross-section of community members are selected, those who are fully aware of community needs and people who can make fair decisions about using Round Up Foundation funds.  The administration of the funds is separate from our cooperative and totally up to the Round Up Foundation board.

Impact by the Numbers

$6.00: The average annual contribution per member.

99¢: The maximum you would ever donate in a single month.

100%: Of your donation stays in the Big Horn REA service area.

Tax-Deductible: Your total annual contribution is summarized on your bill for easy tax reporting.

$ 90000

To date, over this has been given to worthy causes.
