Big Horn Rural Electric Company in Basin, Wyoming is seeking to fill a journeyman line position at the headquarters in Basin. 

The successful candidate must be able to construct and maintain both overhead and underground power lines in a safe and efficient manner.  Duties will include, but not limited to:  construction of overhead and underground power lines, repairing power lines, perform standby duties, transformer connections, and some primary metering.  The successful candidate will possess a background of apprenticeship training and experience to qualify them as a journeyman lineman no later than December 31, 2022.  REA cooperative experience is preferred.  Pre-employment drug and physical test is required, and must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Wyoming (CDL) driver’s license.  Interested lineman please submit an application to Todd Herman, Acting Line Superintendent, at: Big Horn REA, PO Box 270, Basin, WY  82410.  Phone 1-307-568-2419 email lovellrea@bighornrea.com.  Position includes full benefit package (insurance, retirement, 401(k), vacation, sick leave) with a journeyman wage rate of $43.06/hr.  The position is represented by union contract.  Applications will be accepted until position filled.
